Marianne Harris is a highly seasoned advanced practice clinician with more than three decades of experience with inpatient operations and clinical leadership in pediatric and adult emergency services, urgent care, and other ambulatory settings. A Newton, Massachusetts native, Marianne is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and nurse executive who started her advanced practice career in family medicine and primary care at a federally qualified health center affiliated with Boston Medical Center. She held several administrative and clinical roles at Cleveland Clinic, including provider and preceptor in the Regional Family Health Centers and hospitalist for the Heart and Vascular Institute cardiac surgery program. 

Ms. Harris received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University, Boston, a Master of Science in Family and Community Health from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where her research interests included novel care delivery models including shared medical appointments and remote virtual intensive care monitoring. She has also held adjunct faculty positions at Case Western Reserve University and Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.

As OCHS Chief Clinical Officer, Ms. Harris leads the organization in clinical staff and programs, clinical practice, quality initiatives, clinical risk and safety management, utilization review, and the integration and innovation of all clinical service lines.
