Integrating Telehealth Technology in Caring for You

Technology continues to advance how we deliver health care to you post-pandemic. To help our patients benefit from these advances, Outer Cape Health Services uses telecommunications technology in delivery of health care services through our telehealth integration program.

When appropriate, our health center offers primary care, behavioral health and other specialty services through telehealth options designed to help patients access the care they need wherever they are. Telehealth services can now be used for routine care; management of chronic conditions; behavioral health visits/check-ins; and the overall improvement of your health and wellness. 

The program’s goal is to increase access to high quality, affordable health care, while reducing inefficiencies such as preventable emergency room visits, hospitalizations and overall cost of care. Telehealth can benefit most patients while also helping to improve care and health equity for diverse patient populations.
