Walk-in Appointments
We have limited walk-in care appointments for unexpected medical needs at the Provincetown Health Center
You can safely access our walk-in appointments for a wide variety of minor injuries and illnesses, including:
- Earaches
- Eye complaints
- Fever and body aches
- Lacerations and wound care
- Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
- Rashes and poison ivy
- Sinus infections
- Sprains and fractures
- Tick, insect and animal bites
- Urinary tract infections
- (STI) Sexually transmitted infections
Our walk-in clinicians have years of experience as Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
- No appointment in Provincetown
- Provincetown walk-in services are available during all clinic hours of operations, including Saturdays and most holidays.
- Limited appointments available in Wellfleet based on Primary Care Provider availability
- Serious conditions such as CHEST PAIN, STROKE SYMPTOMS or other conditions are better treated in the Hospital Emergency Room hospital.
- Most health insurances are accepted.
- If you are not a primary care patient at OCHS, your insurance company may require a referral or preauthorization. Please call your insurance provider to understand any preauthorization requirements or out-of-pocket expenses.
