T.J. received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology and Music from Assumption College, his Master’s of Science in Human Services from Post University, and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University.
T.J. is trained in family systems, The Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework for children, adolescences and families who have experienced trauma, and is trained in The Trauma-Center's Trauma Sensitive Yoga. T.J. is also a certified spinning instructor and often incorporates physical activity as part of treatment.
T.J. has worked full time in high schools as a school based counselor. Prior to this he was an intensive in-home family therapist. T.J. has been doing outpatient work part time for six years.
T.J. is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is very passionate about working with transitional age youth, families, and couples, as well as the LGBTQ+ community.
