OCHS requires our employees to be vaccinated for Covid-19. Those who fall under a qualifying exemption are tested weekly. At this time, face masks are required for all patients, visitors and customers inside our health centers and pharmacies. For Covid-19 testing & vaccination information, click here
For more than three decades, Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) has delivered care to visitors and residents of the Outer and Lower Cape. We are committed to expanding and enhancing our services in facilities that are welcoming, and in a manner that is supportive and empowering.
As a federally-qualified community health center, we provide services to all, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. We work to ensure that those who live and work here seasonally have the same access to excellent healthcare as those who live here year-round.
Our work includes helping our neighbors to obtain and keep the best possible health insurance coverage. Community support allows us to provide services and programs that complement those already available. In doing so, we maintain a close working relationship with Cape Cod Healthcare (CCH) and an affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).
OCHS achieved an aggressive construction schedule with the opening of our new Harwich Port health center and the reconstruction of the our Wellfleet Health Center within a six-month period. The projects could have been delayed until full funding was in hand, but the community simply could not wait any longer for these expanded facilities to serve existing and new patients in need of modern care. Outer Cape Health Services is the only healthcare organization accepting new patients from the Lower to Outer Cape. These new facilities, along with our Provincetown site, fill a very critical need in our medically underserved region of Cape Cod.
In order to offset construction costs and bridge financing that moved the Wellfleet and Harwich Port projects forward, we need the help of supporters like you who believe in access to healthcare for all in the ten outermost towns of Cape Cod that OCHS serves. Your generosity matters more than ever in helping to secure our shared healthcare future, without undue financial constraints. Your commitment advances vital services and community health center programs in all of our centers. Only with friends like you, who extend financial support, can we secure the future that we moved so quickly to embark upon. The challenge continues, the opportunity remains. Will you join us in meeting the challenge?
At Outer Cape Health Services, the moment is now. With your help, we can secure a brighter future for community healthcare on the Lower and Outer Cape.
