WELLFLEET, MA – January 18, 2023 – Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) tonight announced that its Wellfleet Health Center, located at 3160 State Highway (Route 6), will reopen for patient visits on Friday, January 20. This includes patients with appointments at the Quest Lab located within the Wellfleet health center.
The Wellfleet Health Center will remain closed on Thursday, January 19 to repair and clean the building following a car accident at the site today. No serious injuries have been reported.
Some patient appointments are being rescheduled to telehealth visits when possible. Affected Wellfleet health center patients are being contacted regarding appointment rescheduling. The OCHS Wellfleet pharmacy located at 2700 State Highway (Route 6) is not affected.
OCHS is enormously grateful to all first responders and OCHS staff, Wellfleet officials, and private contractors for their quick response in mitigating today’s incident.
The Wellfleet Health Center hours will resume to 8 am – 5 pm on Friday, January 20.
Prior to Friday’s reopening, patients can reach OCHS by calling the patient access center at 508-905-2888 or message via their MyChart patient portal.
