HIV Mental Health Services
In order to maximize one's physical health, mental health issues must also be addresssed. This is a key component of the primary care model. We recognize the profound disruptions that serious illness can bring to individuals and families. Services are available for evaluation and treatment.
Stress and other mental health issues can have a negative impact on one's physical health. Support is available to address a wide array of stressors, includin: addiction, domestic violence, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and grief.
Referrals for more intensive treatment can also be provided. We link patients to resources to address housing, financial, and legal needs. Our team also works closely with the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod to provide comprehensive care for our HIV+ patients.
